Pop superstar Beyonce' Knowles and rapper/hip-hop mogul Jay-Z got married Friday in Jay-Z's Tribeca apartment. The wedding, which took place at 3pm, was small, having just 30 people in attendance.
The two are also planning to have another ceremony in Paris on May 4, 2008. The power couple have said that four is their lucky number, hence the reason for their weddings on April 4 and May 4.
Beyonce' and Jay-Z recently got matching "IV" tattoos on their ring finger, symbolizing their love for each other and the number. Both have birthdays on the 4th (Jay-Z on December 4 and Beyonce' on September 4).
The wedding arrangments had an all-white theme, equipped with the Roman numeral IV. News cameras and paparazzi saw flowers and a tent go into the Tribeca apartment as they perched outside
The marriage, much like their relationship, was kept from the public eye, but it obviously leaked out.
Jay-Z, 38, and Beyonce, 26, have been dating since 2002.
