Ivana Trump marries Rossano Rubicondi in Palm Beach Florida

Although their marriage did not stand the test of time, respect remains between Donald Trump and his former wife Ivana Trump, and on April 12, 2008 the mogul was among the 500 guests who gathered at his Mar-a-Lago estate in Palm Beach, Florida as the socialite became the bride of Rossano Rubicondi.

Taking inspiration from his press-imposed moniker ("The Italian Stallion,") the groom strode to his place to the strains of Bill Conti's theme from Rocky, while the bride opted for the unabashedly romantic melody of Il Divo's rendition of "Unchained Melody." According to People magazine online, rays of sunlight danced on the pink diamonds of her Manolo Blahnik shoes, which carried the bride along the path leading to her love's side. Although 500 guests looked on, the cluster of fragrant orchids and roses that draped over a 15-foot tall arch provided a touch of intimacy as Donald Trump's sister(a federal judge who presided over the nuptials) pronounced the couple husband and wife. After a ceremonial flyover courtesy of Delta Air Lines, Barry declared the couple legally wed and the 300-plus guests, by now dehydrated, heat-stricken or severely sunburned, burst into applause and followed the happy couple into the reception room named for the bride's second husband.

Among the guests at the ceremony were singer-songwriter Neil Sedaka; Janice Combs, mother of music mogul P. Diddy in a striking coral hooded dress; actress Brigitte Neilsen, the ex-wife of Sylvester Stallone; David Koch, the seventh-richest man in the United States; the bride's ex-husband Donald Trump; Kathy and Rick Hilton; and sex expert Dr. Ruth Westheimer.

Slipping out of her blush pink chiffon and gold Zuhair Murad wedding dress, the newly dubbed Mrs. donned another dress by the designer for the reception. Entertainment Tonight reports that the bride sparkled in a creation of pink beads and lace as she cut slices of a 600 pound, 12-foot tall, gold-gilded wedding cake.
But the visual spectacle was worth it. Twenty-three bridesmaids, each in a different pastel shade except pink or yellow, reserved for the bride and her maid of honor and accompanied by groomsmen dressed in head-to-toe white, made their way down the curving "Swan Stairs" and took their place under a towering canopy of orchids and roses.
The newlyweds will spend their first days of wedded bliss enjoying a honeymoon in the Maldives.
